Rumor has it that Starshine, the explorer from another world, will soon be returning to earth. If you don't know Starshine then it's time you became acquainted. She's an explorer from the misty blue planet Etheria. Traveling the galaxy in her starship SS Imagination together with her robot TC and COM, the ship's Computer Operations Manager, Starshine seeks out the best possible way to fuel the imagination of children helping them develop a love of reading. Starshine loves to explore new places, to learn new things and to have exciting adventures... and she does it by making reading fun! Why? Because Reading is Magic! It's the Key To Imagination.
In some ways Starshine and Company is reminiscent to educational children's television programs such as Seasame Street, Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Dora The Explorer and Reading Rainbow. Starshine's turns reading into fun and exciting adventures for children.
